Ihave the same issue as described in bug 920, but with Solaris 10 and HylaFAX

Any fix / workaround?
Thanks.
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #920 +++
(As reported by David Reynolds on the hylafax-users mailing list -darren)
I just built and installed Hylafax 6.0.3 on Solaris 8 SPARC and am having a
problem. Here’s what I’ve done:
su
cd /path/to/hylafax-source
/usr/ccs/bin/make distclean
./configure -with-DSO=no
/usr/ccs/bin/make
/usr/ccs/bin/make install
faxsetup
faxaddmodem
faxmodem term_a
Trying to sendfax I get the following:
425 Cannot create data socket (0.0.0.0,4558): Address family not supported by
protocol family
I have two serial modems hooked up to the system on /dev/term/a and
/dev/term/b, but am only using the term_a set up as a class 1.0 with Hylafax
(the other is still being used by some old VSIfax software).
I had initially been using the pre-built 4.2.1 binaries that were available but
was having some other troubles with that (that I won’t get into) which made
me decide to upgrade to 6.0.3. Suffice to say, it would (mostly) send faxes
okay under 4.2.1.
Anybody have any thoughts about the above error? Did I miss some crucial
build/setup step?
Thanks in advance,
David
