This can be done using a combination of hylafax’s fax2email and a crm such as zoho or vtiger.

You create a mailing list using the crm in which the email addresses are [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> and send out a form email.

One nice feature of vtiger allows for sending mail out in batches so you don’t overload your fail2email server.

Subject: Re: [hylafax-users] FAXing in mass

Hi CHris:
Thank you for the pointer. I am very interested in this issue not from the POV of being a sender of mass faxes, but sending maintenance reminders to people I have worked with.
I am curious tho, I get probably 2-3 faxes a month advising me of low cost vacations, special resort deals, roof repairs, house maintenance, etc. These faxes seem to be sourced in the US....so, am curious if they are in violation of some regulations.
I wish there were similar regulations for junk email and junk USMail....
Thanks
John

Hi John, I'm not aware of any such scripts or programs, but I would advise you to check laws regarding bulk faxing in your jurisdiction. The reason I state this is because I believe that it is illegal in the USA to fax unsolicited material. I'm not sure if this is your intended use or not, but thought I'd point it out just in case.

For some details, in case anyone is interested:

Hello:
I am wondering if there is any scripts or programs that will do bulk faxing with Hylafax?
Any input is appreciated.
