for example with efax, when I give the command to send fax, I get this output (so I can make my log file, for example number.log)while using sendfax (hylafax client) I don't get the log as thisafter the fax has been sent I have to go in /var/spool/log/c....... and /var/spool/doneq/q...mix them and put all in a file, for example number.logI'd prefer sendfax to show log directlyI run sendfax in this way:sendfax  -w -G -B 9600 -t 1 -T 1 -vv -n -d 06.... file.tif

efax live log example:

What exactly do you want to see? (What is "something like efax"?)

Maybe you can configure your syslog to extract the messages you are
interested in and write them to a special destination.

Or write a (shell/perl/whatever) script that calls commands like
faxstat and formats/filters the output as you like.
