Following up: After adding the local network
192.168.1.[0-9]+
to /var/spool/hylafax/etc/hosts.hfaxd the error message has changed:

I searched google and found a couple of entries, which mostly ended up wi=
th=20
'uninstall and reinstall' - can't be the solution IMHO.

So where is the client directory expected? Under /var/spool/hylafax?

Status of services reflects this issue:
