 Actually, HylaFAX only keeps
 the job documents until faxqclean removes=20
 them from the docq after the job is complete.=C2=A0
 By default that is 1 hour.
=20
 So, if you're running faxqclean (usually
 you'll be running it as a cron=20
 job)
 then most likely HylaFAX is purging those documents much
 sooner=20
 than 30 days.
=20
 Furthermore, HylaFAX never truly produces a
 monolithic fax file for sent=20
 faxes.=C2=A0
 Documents are converted on the filesystem to an appropriate
 fax=20
 data format, but they're not
 concatenated, and the actual data=20
 compression can be changed on the fly - and
 certainly the tagline at the=20
 top of each
 fax page is only ever on the image when it's in memory
 (not=20
 on the filesystem).
=20
 The HylaFAX
 "archive" can archive job documents, but I
 don't think that=20
 this is what you
 want.

 I suspect that your
 observation of faxes being kept for the last 30 days=20
 or so is a feature of your client (Yajhfc) and
 not of HylaFAX. So, in=20
 order to extend this
 storage you'd need to adjust settings or operations=20
 of the client.=C2=A0 (http://www.yajhfc.de/)

 Thanks,

=CE=97i Lee and thank you for the reply.

Hmm the "yajhfc" people say that it's hylafax.
I did find a special hylafax file under=20

/etc/cron.weekly/

There is a file called "hylafax" and a line like so :

faxcron -info 35 -log 35 -rcv 35 -tmp 15 -mode 664  >> /var/log/hylafax/f=
axcron.log 2>&1

However I don't know how to make heads or tails out of this.
The "faxcron" man page is cyptic , I don't know which of the switches can=
 allow me
to leave more messages intact on the history and furthermore I don't know=
 if it will
allow me to do this in the first place.

s.t.
