That is interesting, I didn't expect it to be that high either.  I also
typically use FreeBSD for servers, but due to time constraints ended up
going with ubuntu for now.  Ironically I was trying to get up and running
quickly without compiling, but in the end compiled anyway to get the latest
3.8.0 installed.

For FreeBSD that also begs the question: would it make sense to have a
supported/updated port?  I see it used to be in the collection a long time
ago.
