Hello Jens and all others

In history and also in philology we have often the problem to cite and
reference works which are not cited by author but by title. This is true for
instance for source editions or for lexica or dictionaries. They have
nonetheless a editor or "Bearbeiter", so the editor field is not empty. And
the entry in the bibliography starts with the author, which is not very
helpful because we cite this works in the text with their title or
shorttitle.

My suggestion would be something like a document type lexicon/dictionary or
sourceedition.

With the following fields:

@Sourceedition{Ladewig,
  title = {{Regesta Episcoporum Constantiensis. Regesten zur Geschichte der
Bisch{\"o}fe von Konstanz von Bubulcus bis Thomas Berlower}},
  shorttitle = {REC},
  sortkey = {rec},
  editor = {Ladewig, Paul and M{\"u}ller, Theodor},
  editortype = {Bearb.},
  edby = {bearbeitet von},
  volume = {1--4},
  address = {Innsbruck},
  publisher = {Wagner'sche Universit{\"a}tsbuchhandlung},
  year = {1895--1905},
}

With \cite it should print the following possibilities in the text: fullcite
= title, zitiert als: shorttitle, edby editor, volume, adress: publisher
year.
shortcite = shorttitle.

in the bibliography I and I think others, too, would like something like
that:
title (cited as: shorttitle). edby editor. volume. number series. address
publisher year.

or something like this:

shorttitle = title. edby editor. volume. number series. address publisher
year.

If I understood bibtex and what you have done in jurabib.sty I would try to
find myself a solution for my problem. But I don't, so I would like to ask
you If you could add this functionality to jurabib.

Thank you very much.

I wish you a nice easter.

Roman
