(There is no comma though after booktitle, if it's incollection) Well, I did it on my own :-) I changed check.punct.instead.of.add.period so that there is a switch whether series is given or not: Changed line { "}\bibatsep {} " * } to { series empty$ { "}\bibatsep {} " * } { "} " * } if$ } A similar switch had to be implemented within format.titleaddon ...
