If you want full citation for books but short citation for inbook and
inproceedings, you will have to hack the jox.bst file. Basically, when
jurabib prints an inbook, it first starts the macro for printing the
author, title of the contribution, etc. then it runs the macro 'print the
book'. Here, you would have to create a new macro 'print the short book'
with the fields you only need.

Hacking bibtex files is not very easy because the format and the logic is
very antiquated but it is possible with a little stamina.
