'AUTHOR YEAR' - Layout.

[I already sent a former version of this message using the 
Yahoo-Interface. It didn't show up in my digests then, so I post this 
again using conventional email.]

Dear all,

is there a way to change the standard bibliography setup? I want to
get a simple AUTHOR YEAR in the text and a full entry with exact label 
in the bibliography. With some tweaks, this works fairly
decent for the text (see below) but not for the bibliography.

Plus, I sometimes need to have two dates for exact historical reference. 
There is a workaround to do this with the shortauthor-option of jurabib 
but it's not perfect yet.

@Book{Blumenberg1960,
   Author         = {Blumenberg, Hans},
   Title          = {Paradigmen zu einer {M}etaphorologie},
   Publisher      = {Frankfurt/Main: Suhrkamp},
   shortauthor    = {Blumenberg 1960/},
   year           = 1998
}

This ends up in the text as 'BLUMENBERG 1960/ 1998'. Please note the 
annoying empty space between the years. It's a feature, usually. Jens, 
is there a way to remove this to get a decent 'BLUMENBERG 1960/1998'?
