'note' sets the 'commabeforerest' option ?

Dear sir/madam,

I have a problem where it seems that if a note field is present the
commas between 'vol', 'nr' and 'pages' are always present in the
bibliography. For entries which do not have a 'note' -field the commas
are not present. Is there a workaround to get rid of this ? What I
want is commas never to be printed. The .bst or .sty files are very
complicated, I don't think that I am capable of modifying them
correctly. I hope someone can help me.

I use jurabib together with for example memoir, bibtopics and
hyperref. I think, however, the problem has only to do with
configuration of jurabib. Thank you for an excellent package !
