Hi,
I'm not very experienced with these packages, but it's not clear from 
your message if you call bibtex or bibtex8. I believe the --wolfgang or 
--huge option only applies for bibtex8

Try the  command "bibtex8 --huge <file.aux>" for each iteration of 
bibtex instead of teh old bibtex-command.

If this doesn't work I'm afraid I can't help..
