jox broken for Classical names

The jox bibliography style appears to have a bug which showed up as a
friend was typesetting her thesis.

Names that should not be rearranged as Lastname, Firstname produce the
error:

! Argument of \jb@lbibitem has an extra }.

This error can be solved using the jurabib bibliography style, but am I
not correct in thinking that that has been deprecated in favour of jox?
