crossref, howcited

Hi there!

Forgive the long mail and my poor English. Hopefully those aren't
question which can be answered easily from the manual for I haven't
found a solution there.

1) [crossref] Forgive me my ignorance but I can't quite cope with the
crossref argument in jurabib. For my thesis I need to quote some
collections ("Festschriften"). I wished to include the "Festschrift" als
@collection, including editor, publisher etc and @incollection giving
author, pagerange and title of one of the articles in the collection.
In the @incollection entry, I use crossref to refer to the @collection
entry. But jurabib doesn't include the data of the @collection. How can
that be? Did I write something wrong?

@COLLECTION{fsheldrich,
editor = {Stephan Lorenz and Alexander Trunk and Horst Eidenm"uller and
Christiane Wendehorst and Johannes Adolff},
gender = {pm},
title = {Festschrift f"ur Andreas Heldrich zum 70. Geburtstag},
booktitle = {{Festschrift f"ur Andreas Heldrich zum 70. Geburtstag}},
publisher = CHB,
address = CHB:addr,
year= 2005,
shorttitle = {FS~Heldrich},
}

@INCOLLECTION{thier:fsheldrich,
author = {Andreas Thier},
gender = {sm},
title = {R"ucktrittsrecht und Bereicherungshaftung: Zur Reichweite von
\pg346 \Abs3 \Satz1 \Nr3 BGB und seinen Wirkungen f"ur die
bereicherungsrechtliche R"uckabwicklung gegenseitiger Vertr"age},
booktitle = {{Festschrift f"ur Andreas Heldrich zum 70. Geburtstag}},
shorttitle = {FS~Heldrich},
crossref = {fsheldrich},
pages = {439---455},
}

I call BiBTeX with "bibtex %s --min-crossrefs=1". BiBTeX tells me:
> A bad cross reference---entry "thier:fsheldrich"
> refers to entry "fsheldrich", which doesn't exist
> Warning--I didn't find a database entry for "fsheldrich"
but it *does* exist, I copied&pasted the key to the crossref!

2) [howcited] I use the howcited=compare switch with jurabib. But in my
thesis, the addition "zitiert als" ("cited as"?) never appears. It does
with the same .bib file in other documents. Have I activated an
option that blocks howcited=compare?

@BOOK{kaser:knutel,
author = {Max Kaser and Rolf Kn"utel},
gender = {pm},
title = {R"omisches Privatrecht},
shorttitle = {R"omPrivR},
year = 2003,
publisher = CHB,
address = CHB:addr,
edition = 17
}

Should produce a "(zitiert als: Kaser/KnÌtel, RömPrivR)", since
shorttitle obviously differs from title, shouldn't it?

3) Here all my jurabib-related macros:

\jurabibsetup{authorformat=smallcaps,%
titleformat={commasep,all},
annotatorformat=italic,
annotatorlastsep=divis,
commabeforerest,
crossref={long,dynamic},
howcited=compare,
pages={always,test},
bibformat={tabular,ibidem},
lookforgender,
superscriptedition=switch,
dotafter=bibentry,
}
\citetitlefortype{article,periodical,incollection}
\formatpages[~]{article}{(}{)}
\renewcommand{\bibjtsep}{In: }
\renewcommand{\bibbtsep}{In: }
\renewcommand*{\bibpldelim}{(}
\renewcommand*{\bibprdelim}{)}
\renewcommand*{\bibleftcolumn}{\textwidth/3}
\DeclareRobustCommand{\jbaensep}{,}
\DeclareRobustCommand{\artnumberformat}[1]{(#1)}
\AddTo\bibsgerman{\def\ajtsep{}}
