How to replace point by a comma before name of city ?

Hello,
one (hopefully) final question. Could some one please tell me how to
replace the point before the city name in the example below:
Rittner: Wettbewerbsrecht. 3. Auflage. M?nchen 2000
and change it into:
Rittner: Wettbewerbsrecht, 3. Auflage, M?nchen 2000
