Customizing footcite behaviour

Hi!

I'm writing my first paper in LaTeX and it's also my first longer
LaTeX document ever, so be gentle. :)

My school requires strict citation rules: A footnote consisting of:
Author: Title. Subtitle. Volume. Edition.- Publisher. Year.
(If a field is empty the field, it's . and the associated space can be
omitted, but never ever the dash after Edition.)

And of course they expect me to use Word and the word LaTeX is
completely unknown to them (but that's no problem because all I have
to supply is a printout)
So I started learning LaTeX and jurabib and was able to get the
following footnote design:
Author: Title. Subtitle. Volume. Edition. Publisher. Year.
Note the missing "-"?

I used this configuration:
\jurabibsetup{
  commabeforerest,
  ibidem=strict,
  authorformat=smallcaps,
  citefull=first,
  see,
  titleformat={colonsep,all}
}

I googled around but was unable to find a solution to my problem.
Maybe someone here can point me in the right direction (but in a
newbie friendly way if possible), or better yet supply one command
that solves my problem completely.

Martin
