Hi, I'm trying to get jurabib to work with bibdesk.

When I run LaTeX, I get over 100 errors. They are mostly repetative
and start with this:

./test.tex:13: Argument of \jb@fifthofseven has an extra }.
<inserted text>
                \par
l.13 Footnote madness!\footcite[23--67]{DAI}

I've run across a `}' that doesn't seem to match anything.
For example, `\def\a#1{...}' and `\a}' would produce
this error. If you simply proceed now, the `\par' that
I've just inserted will cause me to report a runaway
argument that might be the root of the problem. But if
your `}' was spurious, just type `2' and it will go away.

OR

./test.tex:13: Missing \endcsname inserted.
<to be read again>
                   \let
l.13 Footnote madness!\footcite[23--67]{DAI}

The control sequence marked <to be read again> should
not appear between \csname and \endcsname.

I don't know what to do. I've tried reinstalling, I have tried using a
different Bibliography file. This is what I've got:

\documentclass[11pt,oneside,letterpaper]{article}

\usepackage[english]{babel}
\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\usepackage{jurabib}

\begin{document}
\section{Holy document Batman!}
Footnote madness!\footcite[23--67]{DAI}
\bibliography{test}
\bibliographystyle{plain}
\end{document}

@book{DAI,
   author = "{Constantine Porphyrogenitus}",
   title = "De Administrando Imperio",
   shorttitle = "DAI",
   translator = "Jenkins, R. J. H. and Moravcsik, Gy.",
   publisher = "Dumbarton Oaks",
   year = "1993",
   address = "Washington",
}

I should mention that it works without much of a problem until the
last step (Latex BibTex Latex Latex) where it spawns the errors. The
PDF it generates before the errors has everything complete except for
a footnote (footnotes has a ? becide it). It writes the bibliography
without fail.

Any ideas?
