The warning you were able to reproduce was just in the log file, right?

I found what others might call "quite a mess", there are 4 folders  
named jurabib
(on my Mac with 10.4.5)
~/LaTeX/LaTeX-Dateien/jurabib-06 Folder/
~/Library/texmf/tex/latex/jurabib-06/
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/tex/latex/jurabib/
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/bibtex/bst/jurabib/

I don't know if it is supposed to be like that.

Anyway, all files are v0.6.
I just replaced jurabib.dtx and jurabib.ins with freshly downloaded  
ones, there is still no change.
