It is very easy. You just add a paragraph with your information in the
textbox, add your name in the Author Field. You add codes to format the
text. The more frequent codes are indicated at the bottom of the page. 

You can copy the formatting of another page for example
http://wiki.lyx.org/FAQ/Unsorted (click on edit to see the text with the
codes)
