Hi everybody,

I have a problem with authorformat=index. With the following bibtex entry

@incollection{sklovskij.v:1969a,
	Address = {M{\"u}nchen},
	Author = {{\v S}klovskij, Viktor},
	Booktitle = {Texte der Russsischen Formalisten},
	Editor = {Jurij Striedter},
	Flanguage = {Russian},
	Note = {Original: {\textcyr{Iskusstvo kak priem}}/Iskusstvo kak priem. Moskau 1929},
	Number = {6},
	Pages = {3--35},
	Series = {Theorie und Geschichte der Literatur und der der sch{\"o}nen K{\"u}nste.
Texte und Abhandlungen},
	Title = {Kunst als Verfahren},
	Translator = {Rolf Fieguth},
	Volume = {1. Texte zur allgemeinen Literaturtheorie und zur Theorie der Prosa},
	Year = {1969}}

jurabib will create an index entry like this:
\indexentry{{\v S}klovskij, Viktor={\v S}klovskij, Viktor|hyperpage}{195}

The problem is that the special character {\v S} isn't sorted under "s" but right at the
beginning of the index, even before entries starting with a number. What I would need is
something like this:

\indexentry{Sklovskij, Viktor={\v S}klovskij, Viktor|hyperpage}{195}

Of course I can always to this by hand, by find and replace in the .idx file, but this is not
very elegant. Is it possible to let jurabib know where and index entry should be, maybe
some kind of undocumented "sortindex" field?

Thank you

simon
