Probleme mit Option howcited=multiple

Hallo

Ich habe nach wie vor ein Problem mit der Option howcited=multiple.

Falls mehr als ein Werk des gleichen Autors zitiert wird fügt diese
Option die Kurztitel der Werke zu den jeweiligen
Bibliographieeinträgen  hinzu. Dis funktioniert einwandfrei.

Wird nun aber eines der Werke, z.B. als Folge einer Bearbeitung, im
Text nicht mehr zitiert, so wird dessen Eintrag in der Bibliographie
nicht mehr entfernt. Das Werk bleibt also im Literaturverzeichnis
aufgelistet obwohl im Text keine Referenz mehr existiert.

Hat jemand eine Lösung für dieses Problem?

Entfernt man nun ein Zitat (z.B.\cite[56.]{autor:werk2}) so bleibt das
Literaturverzeichnis unverändert!
