It certainly sounds dumb to most of you, but how do I do this? I
downloaded the beta-zip, latexed jurabib.ins (got the files I needed),
and copied them into texmf\tex\latex\jurabib, thus overwriting the old
files from 2004. The I refreshed the fndb using the graphic interface
of Miktex. But I guess I should have done it differently. I now copied
the files into my working directory (where I have stored the tex-files
I use), and I don't get the error messages, but I'd like to have it
work globally.

But I figured out why I couldn't use edby when using the standard
jurabib.bst: it won't work with crossref, only when the editor and
booktitle is within the incollection-entry, but I can bear typing the
additional information instead of using crossref ;).

I'm now trying to change my \jurabibsetup so that I get the desired
results, let's see what I get out of it. Thank you very much so far!

Cheers, Katrin
