LyX is a multiplatform opensource frontend to LaTeX that gives a MsWord
interface for typing LaTeX text. LyX has a (basic) support for Jurabib and
is a good candidate for people in humanities that have experience with
MsWord and want to start LaTeX.

I just want to collect information about using LaTeX / LyX / Jurabib / Linux
and Humanities because we are a small but growing community and it can help
newcomers.

I think that we can piggyback for the time being on the LyX wiki. If there
is enough content, I will create a dedicated Wiki but I do not want to cope
with the burden of administering a Wiki for 3 miserable pages.
