As you (and anybody else attending BachoTeX) will know now, I followed
your suggestion and demonstrated a version without this bug.  What I
demonstrated was more or less the current CVS version, so if it
doesn't work for everybody else at the moment, I'd definitely like to
know it.

PS: I realise I haven't had the time to do much on this project in the
past half year, but I feel BachoTeX has motivated me to spend much
more time on it in the coming months.
