Module simpleslides / BottomSquares -- missing square + installation question

Hi all,
the following MWE works as expected with ConTeXt from TL2022 and 2024
whereas with TL2025 a TL2026 the red square showing the current slide disappeared.
\usemodule[simpleslides] [style=BottomSquares]
\setupTitle[title=Title]
\starttext
\placeTitle
\SlideTitle{AAA} a text
\SlideTitle{CCC} a text
\SlideTitle{EEE} a text
\stoptext
Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there a way to solve it?

The compilation of the same code with LMTX failed, the module it is not a part of the installation
and I was unable to install it.
As a precaution, I installed the new (current) version and -- according to the from Sunday to Tuesday thread about installing modules -- checked all:
The path is correct -- PATH=/usr/share/context/v260325/tex/texmf-linux-64/bin:...,
the file mtx-install-modules.lua is located at /usr/share/context/v260325/tex/texmf-context/scripts/context/lua/,
mtxrun --generated did not report any error
but the main step
mtxrun --script install-modules --install simpleslides
reports
mtx-install-modules | unknown subdirectory 'texmf-context'
Can someone please advise me on what I missed?
