While updating ANSS-CE I've discovered that Google translate has helped me
improve my Spanish from a level of about 0.01% fluent to maybe 0.03 or
0.04%. Although this is a significant improvement (on a multiplicative
basis), my German fluency is also tragically low, probably also in the
0.01% range.

I did look at some examples from Hraban's book, and with the help of Google
made some sense of them. Automatic translation has really come a long ways
in the last decade or so. (I tried to convince Hraban to run his whole book
through Google translate, but so far my efforts in that direction have
borne no fruit. ;-)

Cheers.
