Hi all,

Version 1.1 (of the Community Edition) of "A Not So Short Introduction to
ConTeXt LMTX" has been released for your reading pleasure at
     https://codeberg.org/anss-ce/ANSS-CE/releases/tag/2026-04-21

I have made a pass through the entire document and
-> removed information of little interest to LMTX users (e.g., MkII info);
-> updated information in cases where the LMTX behaviour is known to be
   different than MkIV;
-> fixed any typos, misspelllings, difficult translations that I saw;
-> added some new expository material;
-> fixed some of the overfull hboxes and other typesetting glitches; and
-> made other similar improvements.

No doubt I missed some things, and some of the things I added could be
better yet.

However, with these updates I believe it is a more useful reference for
(new) LMTX users than the original ANSS book.

There is lots left to do. If anyone is interested in contributing in a
small way, here are suggestions:

(1) Look at the places where JoaquĆn put his "uncertain" or "doubt" icons.
    Definitive answers to those uncertainties would improve the document.

(2) In the .tex files, there are many places I marked with "TODO", hoping
    someone with more expert knowledge than me could answer a question or
    provide insight.

If anyone wants to attack any of these, you can either
(1) fork (clone?) the repository, make changes, create a pull request
    (easiest (?) for people who are git-compliant); or
(2) edit the .tex file using your favourite editor and email me the updated
    version.
(3) If you are keen to be involved more directly, and you feel confident in
    your git abilities that you won't blow up the repository, I could give
    you write perms.

And there are bigger things:
-> someone who is very good at book design might have some ideas to change
   the layout of the examples, or the choice of fonts, font sizes, ...
-> someone who feels their favourite important topic is missing or not
   well-covered could either write a new chapter or expand the current one
   (respectively).
-> ...

In any case, if you take a look at it and notice any outright errors,
please let me know so I can update the on-line copy.

                                Jim
