Hi Jim,

I confirm that the second group of brackets in `\placebookmarks[…][…]`
setup which outline (bookmark) levels are opened by default.

For an authoritative confirmation, I would need to understand first
section “12.3.3 Document Outline” from the PDF spec
(https://opensource.adobe.com/dc-acrobat-sdk-docs/pdfstandards/PDF32000_2008.pdf#nameddest=G11.1970991).

Sorry, but right now my mind only allows me to offer just a
“trust–me–bro” type of confirmation (I cannot even imagine how the
specification could even work with undisplayed outlines).
