 Changes in version 26.10 are described in:

 Here is a summary:
 * Breaking change (bidi texts): Now the option layout=tabular has
   been made the default.
 * New locale: persian-latin, thanks to @RamtinMoslemi.
 * Fix: Variant was ignored with BCP 47 tags.
 * Support for the new lua-calendrica package.
