Um genau zu sein: 
PDFs messen (wie Postscript) in bp, als 1/72"; Druckerpunkte (pt) sind bekanntlich 1/72,27".  Der Korrekturfaktor ist also 72,27/72 = 1,00375 (Kehrwert: 0,996264).  Das merkt eins bei 3 mm = 8,503937 bp = 8,535827 pt Zugabe praktisch nicht, in anderen Kontexten, z. B. Seiten- oder Bogenmaßen kanns schon was ausmachen.
