Alan,
The problem is with \caption{}. This is not currently supported in a longt=
able
environment. Consequently, the presence of '\\' inside the caption
causes problems. The easiest fix is to replace '\\' with two linefeeds, bu=
t the
RTF translation is pretty poor.
I don't have time at the moment to fix the longtable \caption problem.
Also the xy environment is completely unsupported so that will be problemat=
ic.
