[Fwd: MikTex, Prosper and out of page printing.]

Hello all,

Im a latex newbie, so please pardon the erros or misconceptions in my 
presentation.

With that out of the way, i need some help. Im trying to write a 
presentation using prosper. I am running win2k and miktex. Pretty recent 
installations, both of them.

I try to typeset some of the examples, like prosper-tour.tex. Im just 
doing "latex prosper-tour.tex", with no options. (dont yet know what any 
of the latex options are). Than, when i try to 
view the page with "TrueTex DVI Previewer", the slides are outside the 
printing area and nothing looks ok.

Same thing if i just do pdflatex: i just get white pages with no text. 
(not to mention wrong paper orientation).

So, what should i do? Whats going wrong?

I got seminar to work fine, but i would like to use the features of 
prosper. But when using seminar i have to do latex->dvips->ps2pdf, 
because i need to use the "-t landscape" option of dvips. Is there any 
way to give the same options  to pdflatex?
