I want to the following on a slide:
have a figure on the right side and a bullet point on the left side.
\begin{slide}{Results}
\begin{minipage}[c]{0.4\linewidth}
\begin{itemize}
\item The curves all coincide when plotted as a function of temporal
frequency--confirms strobe-in-head theory.
\end{itemize}
\end{minipage}
\begin{minipage}[c]{0.4\linewidth}
\includegraphics[width=8.5cm]{plot1.ps}
\end{minipage}
\end{slide}
My problem is that the figure is inserted in the same left-hand column
directly below the bullet. I tried something simpler, just involving bullets
and I had the same problem:
\begin{slide}{TEST}
\begin{minipage}[c]{0.4\linewidth}
\begin{itemize}
\item The curves all coincide when plotted as a function of temporal
frequency--confirms strobe-in-head theory.
\end{itemize}
\end{minipage}
\begin{minipage}[c]{0.4\linewidth}
\begin{itemize}
\item This is a bunch of stuff that should be on right side of slide...
\end{itemize}
\end{minipage}
\end{slide}
Again I don't have two columns--only the left col appears.
I am not too experienced with minipages but I have looked around on the web.
I believe I am using them correctly. Maybe this problem is related to
prosper? Thanks very much for any help!
