[Prosper] - pdf output shows black background....

Hi,

I'm writing my first prosper presentation .... so be patient ;-)
I have the  following file

\documentclass[final,total,slideColor,colorBG,pdf,blends]{prosper}

\title{The Title}
\author{Giovanni Turi}
\institution{IIT}
\email{[email protected]}

\begin{document}
\maketitle

\begin{slide}{Slide num 1}

\end{slide}

\end{document}

By compiling, latex -> dvips -> ps2pdf, I get a wonderful pdf 
presentation with the blends style (white background and colorful 
squares on the left side).

Then I open it with acroread, it seems to be ok, but if I do a full 
screen view the slide body background goes to black, and then the 
presentation gets ugly.

What did I do wrong?
