bibentry

I am having a little trouble with the bibentry package and splitting up a
bibliography over multiple slides.  I have seen the tutorial on
wikiprosper HowTo bibliography, but where does the \nobibliography go?

Do we still need \bibliographystyle{amsplain}?

I have tried lots of combinations of where to place these commands all to
no avail.  I can get the bibliography to appear on a standard looking page
by issuing the standard bibliography commands, but i cannot figure out how
to get the tutoria to work.  I know that i am doing something wrong.
