This is not a bug, just interaction of PS code. The known workaround is:
\fromSlide*{2}{
  \ncLine{->}{recip}{out}
  \ncbar[angle=-90]{->}{sender}{recip}
  \Bput{side channel}
}

Notice the \fromSlide*
Notice that the rest of your example works without problems.
