I'm using Acrobat (5 or 7) on Linux and it complains > whenever I change my pdf, so I have to close acrobat and reload it > whenever I recompile my prosper document. Is there a clever way to get > acrobat to refresh the file (or another pdf viewer than handles the > overlays, etc from prosper?). Ideally this would be some command I could > run in my prosper script. This is not a specific prosper question, but has to do with the editor that you use to call ps2pdf. The editor needs to make a link with acrobat, close the file before regenerating it and open it again afterwards. On windows, winedt makes such a link (dde link) with acrobat. For linux, I don't know.
