Hi all: I have an iBook with Panther that I have installed my usual 'nix tools on it via Fink, such as tetex, emacs, etc. I am able to generate typical LaTeX documents with ease, but I have a problem getting Prosper installed correctly. Here is what I have tried: 1. mkdir /usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/tex/latex/prosper 2. copied all the downloaded files and folders to this directory 3. run mktexlsr (as indicated in the INSTALL file) That did not work. The prosper.cls is not found. Then I tried the alternate instructions: 1. mkdir ~/Library/TeX/prosper 2. copied all the downloaded files and folders to this directory 3. added the following line to my .bash_profile file: export TEXINPUTS=$TEXINPUTS:$HOME/Library/TeX/prosper And that still did not work. The prosper.cls is not found. Even after a full reboot. What should I do (or should have already done) to get this system to find the prosper class?
