I think it would be helpful to document this on the wiki. (though as you
can see from Hendri's posting, this does not happen on all linux systems).

Do I have permission to add this? It would be a really bad surprise for
someone who relies on AR5/Linux for a production presentation...

Yes, I can confirm that it the styles work fine with AR7 and xpdf. Small
problem with AR7 is that it requires recent glibc.
