Thanks Clint and Suman, I was missing the extra step you mentioned. After 1. Creating the .dvi file (which shows nothing on the page) 2. Creating the .ps file using DVIPS 3. (THEN) creating the .pdf file using PS2PDF I have a pdf with the proper text and viewable. There seems to be a portion on the right-hand side that has been cut off, but it does not seem to be significant. I can now begin using prosper to create presentations and slides in .pdf format.
