error "rangecheck in pdfmark"

Hi everyone,
In trying to print a pdf file for my slides from GSview, I get the 
following error sequence

Unrecoverable error: rangecheck in pdfmark
Operand stack:
     --nostringval--  View  --nostringval--  Rect  --nostringval--  DEST
gsapi_execute_cont returns -15
gsapi_exit returns 0

No idea what it means. Even more obscure given that I managed to
(a) print a pdf of the same presentation on a different machine
(b) print a pdf of different presentations on the same machine
