Also ... nevermind the fact that the two line minimal example from the
documentation doesn't even compile (even further strengthening the
suspicion that this whole contribution might have been written by AI
or by someone with made-up identity trying to build up a reputation
from low-hanging fruits, similar to Jia Tan).

PS for CTAN: the website for evaluation of packages is somewhat buggy.
It automatically assigns a five star rating even when the user clicks
on one star. Or if you later change the description of rating, it
automatically jumps to five star rating again.
