Re: Bug regarding Debian trixie (Ioannis Tsoulos)

Dear Norbert,

putting the current file from CTAN into TEXMFLOCAL or TEXMFHOME - would 
that not result in TeX using those file even if a newer version has been 
included into the Debian installation? Ioannis wants to use the current 
version (not some private modification), there is apparently an older 
version used by Debian still, and whenever the Debian distribution does 
update that version, it is fine that the old version is overwritten.

Do I misunderstand something?
