TL source port

This can't be accessed through either LAN or eduroam wifi at my workplace (Grenoble University, France), and I needed to switch to 5G cell connection instead.

Inquiring with the sysadmins, it appears port 8369 is blocked for outgoing traffic at the university level (affecting both LAN and wifi). Is there some specific reason for choosing this port, that I could bring forward when asking for the port to be unblocked?
