FWIW, there is also an unsecure webpage in Namibia, http://download.nust.na/pub2/openpkg1/sources/DST/pdflib/ which has collected PDFlib and PDFlib-Lite sources from 4.0.1 (as consulted) up to PDFlib-Lite-7.0.0, still including p_png.c in a version from 2009. The p_png.c from 4.0.3 was not copied verbatim to pdftex, it was only consulted for its nice fast inclusion idea and some code was gleaned. BTW, google KI tells (fantasizes?) that there were some security problems with this fast PNG inclusion approach. Best Regards Hartmut
