https://github.com/TeX-Live/texdoc/issues.

My wild guess is that something is awry in texdoc's cache file on your
system.  You might try (re)moving
.texlive2026/texmf-var/texdoc/cache-tlpdb.lua (i.e., under TEXMFVAR).
