The culprit of the problem was me. When I installed lxgw-fonts some days ago I made a
mistake by

- unzipping with the `-a` option
- and not noticing that the uploaded lxgw-fonts zip archive had falsely marked the
ttf files as tx instead of bx.

I should have noticed that but I didn't. Sorry about that.

As I hate to make such mistakes and I have to admit I am error prone (perhaps by
design) 😁 I decided to create a small utility which

- unzips/untars an uploaded package archive
- and if a file is detected as binary it just gets unpacked
- if a file is detected as text it changes non LF line endings to LF

So, this should improve things very much.
