The second line says:
Parsing config file
C:\Users\Uli\AppData\Roaming\MiKTeX\2.9\miktex\config\updmap.cfg...

I've modified updmap.cfg for test purposes so that it only contains a map
entry for 0mc.map (Magda Clean). But it is not listed in the log file.
Curiously some lines of updmap.log tells that miktex is parsing some local
map files anyway:

Parsing E:\projekte\localtexmf\fonts\map\dvips\MnSymbol\MnSymbol.map
Parsing E:\projekte\localtexmf\fonts\map\fourier\fourier.map
Parsing E:\projekte\localtexmf\fonts\map\gfs\gfsartemisia.map...
Parsing E:\projekte\localtexmf\fonts\map\gfs\gfsbaskerville.map...
Parsing E:\projekte\localtexmf\fonts\map\gfs\gfsbodoni.map...
Parsing E:\projekte\localtexmf\fonts\map\gfs\gfscomplutum.map...
Parsing E:\projekte\localtexmf\fonts\map\gfs\gfsdidot.map...
Parsing E:\projekte\localtexmf\fonts\map\gfs\gfsneohellenic.map...
Parsing E:\projekte\localtexmf\fonts\map\gfs\gfsporson.map...
Parsing E:\projekte\localtexmf\fonts\map\gfs\gfssolomos.map...

I really don't understand why these files are parsed any others not! In my
local map directory there a lot of map files (71 exactly) which I activate
on demand in updmap.cfg.

Ciao
Ulrich
