No, it doesn't work. Strangely if a uncomment in updmap.cfg the line "Map
ArnoProLY1.map"
E:\projekte\localtexmf\fonts\map\Adobe\ArnoProLY1.map got included!

I'm wondering if the syntax inside the map files have changed and could be
the source of the problem?
(in 0mc.map I have, e.g. "0mcr8r MagdaClean " TeXBase1Encoding ReEncodeFont
" <8r.enc <0mcr8a.pfb")

Very strange. May be I should try the 32-bit version?
