lualatex and format file

Hi,

I have a recent installation of MiKTeX 2.9.

luatex runs fine, but lualatex stopped working. lualatex always
outputs "(Fatal format file error; I'm stymied)".

According to the TeX-FAQ one should rund "Update Formats" in the
MiKTeX Options. As far as I can read the ouput, the formats file is
NOT generated for lualatex.


Checking the tab "Formats" shows that lualatex is on "exclude".
Changing "exclude" to nothing (by removing the checkmark at "Change")
and redoing "Update Formats" SOLVES the problem.


Doing lualatex --ini lualatex.ini in "MiKTeX29\tex\latex\latexconfig"
did NOT solve the problem.

BTW: Right-lick on the Formats table and cliking on "What's this?"
opens a strange dialog ("Windows API error 0").
